To you, this short clip below taken from one my visits to Barnsley FC's Training Ground might Just look like an average goal. However, I see it differently. Earlier in the game I'd taken note that Nottm Forest (Blue) were noticeably more well prepared and far superior from set pieces in comparison to their opponents Barnsley U23. This partnered with the fact that Nottm had caught a wave of momentum whilst Barnsley continued to give away silly fouls led to a tip for Members - NOTTM FOREST U23 TO SCORE @ 1.80 (4/5) 

Nottm Forest U23 (Blue) have a dangerous free kick on the channel edge of Barnsley's box. Now, Watch closely as the Forest #10 hangs at the back post, tightly marked by Barnsley's #6. #10 then proceeds to draw to the penalty spot knowing full well his defending counterpart will track his movement. As he approaches the penalty spot his attacking partner #9 initiates a screen leaving the barnsley defender hopeless & allowing an unmarked shot resulting in a goal and a winner for members.

This is clearly a well practiced set piece and a selfless act from Nottm Forest's #9 to free up his attacking partner. Without attending this match I would not have been able to see how capable Nottingham Forest were from set pieces prior to this goal and I would have no reason to recommend this tip. Luckily for members I was in attendance to notice this pattern alongside the momentum swing during this match. Analysis like this whilst in attendance of games gives us that extra slice of information that you can't detect through looking at Inplay stats alone.

UEFA U19 YOUTH LEAGUE

It's always beneficial to take advantage of the Youth League and get an insight to some of the foreign academy systems that travel over to the UK. This is a tournament full of young players desperate to impress and almost always provides explosive, competitive games. When possible I'll aim to attend UEFA Youth League games that are partnered with Senior squad Home fixtures such as my trip to the Eitihad earlier in January 2020. 

ENGLAND U23 DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE

The Professional Development league is our most covered league of them all in terms of hands on tips. Long term followers are well aware of the advantages we have gained over the years from attending these games. The Regular squad rotation and the appearance of first team players often creates compelling miss-matches in multiple areas of the pitch. Even games without first team attendance can provide distinct value that you don't see behind a phone screen.

THE MONACO GRAND PRIX TIP

If you go back to May 2019 on the @Upper90Tips Instagram account you'll notice that during a visit to Monaco I released a special Formula 1 tip free of charge. Despite participating in Motorsport myself from 2007 -2014 surprisingly to this day this is the only Motorsport tip to be posted on Upper 90 Tips...It won.

Charles Leclerc Not to finish @ 9/2.

For those that don't know Monaco is a track with very few overtaking opportunities. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was set to start 15th after a mistake from his team during qualifying. Thanks to a contact of mine I had high level access at this event and overheard a conversation involving Charles Leclerc's plans to drive quote "aggressive" & "risking to crash".

He retired early in the race after picking up terminal damage. We cashed in. Although very off topic this highlights how being at an event/match can give you inside information that you don't see behind a phone screen.
